Urbana Archives Musical Worship at Urbana 2000
We hope the songs from Urbana 2000 drew you near to God and into his heart for the world and his people of every nation. We sang songs from various ethnic communities and even some songs in languages other than English, including Creole (from Haiti), Tswana (from South Africa) and Mandarin Chinese. Singing in different languages expands our vision of God's character. It also honors and helps us love the people whose languages we sing.

"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"

Romans 10:14 (NIV)
