This Urbana will continue our focus on the four objectives that have characterized
each Urbana since 1946:
- We will declare the Biblical basis of missions.
- We will call students to join God's mission and enable them to join you in the missionary enterprise.
- We will present a current picture of global missions and the needs of the world.
- We will
acculturate this unchanging message within the context of contemporary
university student culture.

Culture
Student culture is constantly changing. One of the ways we hope to serve
you is to provide fresh insights from InterVarsity's campus ministry
into
communicating with, recruiting and retaining today's students, who represent
no single "generational culture" but rather a spectrum of subcultures
which are reflected in Urbana's diverse population.
