Urbana 03 is InterVarsity’s 20th Student Mission Convention from December 27-31, 2003.

Delegate Registration

Urbana 03 is a mission convention for North American college students to learn about world missions and find ways to be involved in God’s mission. We also welcome international students currently studying in North America, and students and staff involved in national student fellowships of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). Registration on the web is limited to delegates from the United States and Canada. Students from other areas including the U.S. Territories desiring to register may click here.

Convention Location

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
(140 mi/224 km south of Chicago, Illinois)

Check In

8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2003. Dinner is provided at 6:00 p.m., before the first session.

Departure

Begins after the last session at 12:30 a.m., January 1 and continues through Thursday morning. Airport shuttle buses will not depart prior to the last session. Housing the night of December 31 and breakfast the morning of January 1 are provided, if needed.

Transportation

Schedule your arrival and departure transportation to allow adequate time for winter weather, flight delays, ground transportation, and check-in at the convention. Refer to the Travel page for more details.

Interpretation

The convention will be in English. Interpretation will be available in the general sessions for American Sign Language, French and Spanish. Please provide your own bi-lingual companion if needed. Your companion will need to complete a separate registration form.

Families

Married couples may request to be housed together. Sorry, children are not permitted at the convention; accommodations are not available for children. We regret the inability to make exceptions.

Groups

If you wish to room with a specific person and/or in proximity to members in your group, you must check-in at Urbana together. Housing together is not guaranteed. Housing is gender specific and is assigned upon arrival. No reservation or pre-assignments are available. No temporary, blocked or reservations of spaces are available. Each individual needs to complete a separate registration form including the minimum $100 down payment in USD funds.

Physical Limitations and Disabilities

Wheelchair-accessible accommodations are available for those with physical limitations. Persons will disabilities are responsible for their own personal attendants. Your personal attendant will need to complete a separate registration form.

Registration Payment

Payment in full is preferred. If you reside in the U.S., U.S. Territories or Canada, a minimum $100 down payment, USD funds only, must accompany your registration. The remaining balance is due upon arrival at the convention, with cash or check. No credit cards will be accepted for registration payments during check-in.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your registration, write cancellations@ivcf.org, or send a letter to Urbana 03 Registrar, P.O. Box 7895, Madison, WI USA 53707-7895 with your name and registration number by Monday, December 1, 2003 to receive your refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. After December 1, 2003 and before December 26, 2003 only amounts paid above the $100 registration fee will be refunded. No refunds will be issued after December 26, 2003. Registration substitutions or transfers are not permitted.

Confirmation

You will have a printable confirmation at the end of the online registration process. An email will also be sent to you on completion of the registration process. This confirmation will contain your Urbana ID number.
