Urbana 03 Seminars : Social Justice
What does the Kingdom of God look like when it is fully realized here and now? How might the Kingdom of God impact the child prostitution industry, the AIDS epidemic, or global economics? When God's people focused on personal holiness to the exclusion of community or social justice, God was quick to bring words of judgment and rebuke. The Holy Spirit’s intent was for the community of God to have a leavening effect on society around them - to raise the level of goodness in places where people dwelt. Seminars in this category will help us learn to be a bringer of righteousness, not only in our private conduct, but in defending the rights of those who are voiceless.-
