Alex Gee is the Pastor of Fountain of Life Family Worship Center in Madison, Wisconsin. He is also President of Nehemiah Community Development Corporation, a non-profit, community-based youth and family service organization providing summer and after-school academic programs, youth enrichment programs, and family development services in the Madison area.

Alex Gee grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. He worked at the University of Wisconsin for seven years, and most recently, served as Assistant to the Chancellor for Minority Community Relations. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in Economics and Afro-American History. In 1996, he received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Grace Theological Seminary. In addition to his work as Pastor of Fountain of Life and the Nehemiah Corporation, he enjoys speaking with student groups and writing. He is co-authoring a book with John Teter titled Jesus & the Hip-Hop Prophets which will be released in 2003.

His involvement in missions is fueled by his commitment to Christ’s mandate for all Christians, and the fruit of an active faith walk. Alex feels that students are open, energetic, creative and skilled, and are a critical group to mobilize to spread the Gospel.

Alex is an Urbana alumnus, speaking both at Urbana 96 and Urbana 2000. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, movies, cooking, and travel.
