What is a "closed country?" Why is the Middle East such a battleground? Who are the Viswakarma people? Where is Tajikistan anyway? Introducing geographical, historical, and current news unique to different regions of the world, this major will help those who participate in it gain a better grasp of the goings-on around the globe and models of ministry unique to particular parts of the world. Attendees will:

  • learn about service endeavors in places like Southeast Asia and Palestine
  • hear missionary stories from far and wide
  • gain an overall awareness of what God is doing throughout the world
This major is open to all attendees.

  • You need a “world tour” that helps you understand all parts of the planet: what the problems are, where God is at work, and where they might need someone like you.

""You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.""

Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV)
