| U96 open mike testimony: "I just wanted to share with you how God spoke to me [at Urbana 96]. He encouraged me in my dedication to be a sender. I used to feel guilty for believing that God wanted me to help send others but not be a missionary myself. I was never taught that sending was as important as going. but that the giving of my money and prayers was just the cowards way out. I could never understand why others didn’t feel led to give and support missionaries when there are Christians ready to go and spread the gospel, they were unable to because of lack of money. How very discouraged they must have been. Last night's message of senders being of equal importance as goers encouraged me that I am not just wimping out by helping to send others, by giving money in my Wakefield, Rhode Island Church. Will you help me send the masses out to those who haven’t heard."
