| Gina: I went to Urbana 79 to broaden my perspective on the world and to discover how I fit into the Mission of the Church. That one week did more to open my eyes to God's concern for the world than anything before or since. I made a vow at Urbana 79 to say, "Yes Lord, I am willing to go anywhere and do anything you want of me whether that means here or overseas." One can often be caught up in an emotional moment at such a conference so I have tried to re-evaluate this vow many times since 1979. The vow and my commitment to it remain firm.
