Previous Urbana Conventions

Bill: Greetings from Panama. My name is Bill, IVCF staff '68-70 in Eastern N.Y. and I have been a missionary/pastor here in Panama for the last 24 yrs. I just want to testify that it was at Urbana '73 that as a young pastor my wife and I heard about Union Churches overseas. We were challenged by Christie Wilson Jr. to put evangelicals in these churches. I sought him out after the session and in Jan 1976 we moved to Panama for 2 yrs. which has turned out to be 24. I attended Urbana '61 as a new Christian and then '64 as a senior in college. I have been challenged by IVCF and Urbana to always think of missions and thus here I am.
