| Joan: I attended Urbana 1976 and 1979, and God did use the experience to lead me to several cross-cultural opportunites, one only 20 minutes from home, then one in Mississippi, and a short term trip to Honduras. Although I am now living and serving in a very homogenous community, I am involved each month in contact with missionaries supported by our church as I lead a ladies group commited to encourage and pray for those serving God in missions
