Diane: Instead of attend Urbana in 1980 as a college student, I went 9 years later as a working woman, unhappy professionally and not sure why I was at Urbana. I found out why I was there when a one hour seminar unexpectedly brought all my interests together: missions, language, and teaching. I now teach ESL at the local university. Support from my church during grad school led me join the missions committee which I now cochair. It is my joy to write to our many missions partners each week. Nine years late wasn't late at all to attend Urbana.
