Paul:  After many years of preparation, we are finally ready to leave for the mission field! I'm not sure if you have any way to collect data about who commits to go and who actually ends up going, but we did stand up to go at Urbana 96 and we are now going. Both my wife and I wanted to serve overseas before we met, so I'm not sure how much of an impact Urbana had on that decision. Urbana was very helpful though in assisting us in finding a mission agency (SIM) and in encouraging us as we moved along the process of going. I have loved my Urbana experiences. 03/17/00
