| Pat: I was eight months in the Lord and very independent at Urbana 1987. The evening that Helen Rosevere spoke was a threshold in my life. Dr. Rosevere told the story of a young girl who created problems for her missionary parents, refusing to surrender her pet horse to the Lord. She concluded her talk with a penetrating question: Do you have a horse? I had so many "horses" I wept aloud. Over the years, the Lord has used this story to remove every "horse" in my corral. How great to be free in Him, abiding by His grace!
