| Beth: Urbana '96 was one of my first obviously "crazy" excursions on the journey with Jesus. Why go with Dad's heart surgery less than a month prior and the miles of winter roads? God was calling. My focus during the convention was campus ministry as I was to serve as outreach coordinator the next year. But, Urbana was the beginning of a process that led me to Gaza for a summer and now has me considering longer term global ministry. Regardless of whether I send or go, God continues to make me love His world.
