Carrie:  Coming from a broken home and a broken relationship with my biological father, it has been hard to grasp the concept of God adopting me as His daughter and understand that He loves me very much. While at Urbana the talks on adoption and being preloved really hit home and God finally "opened my eyes" to the fact that no matter what I do or how I screw up, I am still His daughter and He loves me. It's good to finally understand what a true father looks like and to have that firmly planted in my heart. 01/20/01
