Chrissy:  God spoke to me regarding my lack of knowledge about world events. He showed me that . . . ultimately my motivation for not knowing was apathy . . . I didn't care that there were wars or famines or natural disasters or child prostitutes. I only allowed my interest to include things that happened here in Gainesville, and that only sometimes. I would become angered that the administration was thinking of eliminating parking spots, but not that thousands of people were starving to death everyday! God showed me that I need to . . . make time in my schedule to read the news, to learn and pray about the suffering in this world. 03/28/01
