Marty:  I attended Urbana '84, hoping NOT to hear God's voice. My father, whom I dragged to Urbana, met a friend who later taught in Beijing in 1987. I went with him, an experience that changed me forever. In 1990 I began teaching Religion and Humanities at the Hong Kong International School. I still live and teach in HK and carry out a very active ministry in the classroom as well as in China - visiting orphans, poverty relief, scholarships, nutritional projects, Habitat for Humanity projects, teacher teaching, etc. Urbana was the first step to a most satisfying ministry. 01/23/04
