Barb & Mike :  Urbana '79 was coming, and Barb got a job in the Urbana Dept. We'd become Christians as hippies, living in community in Eugene, Oregon; this would be our first missions conference: Barb as worker, and Mike as delegate. One evening session, Billy Graham invited delegates to stand if they'd go anywhere God led. That night Mike told Barb he'd made that commitment. She wasn't there yet ("You did what?!!"), but it didn't stop God from taking Mike at his word. Eight years later,we were in Guatemala as members of Wycliffe Bible Translators... because Mike accepted God's invitation at Urbana '79. 03/21/06
