More About Angela
The Lord is gracious and just! Going to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in the Summer of 2003 with InterVarsity's Global Urban Trek was one of the first steps that God was taking in my life to cultivate in me a passion to love and serve the poor and marginalized.
Throughout that summer and in my last year of college at the University of California, San Diego, the Lord brought up Luke 4:18-19 over and over again-
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has annointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
So naturally the question came up, "What does it look like for me, a Chinese-American Christian woman, to live like Jesus as I enter into the real world?" As a step toward following Jesus and living out his mission, God brought me here to Madison, Wisconsin to learn more about His heart for justice.
Join me in this journey as I work part time, live in community, engage in ministry opportunities, and explore what God has for me in the future.
