More About Kim
I just transplanted myself from living in Portland, Oregon and going to school at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon to living, working, and serving in Madison, Wisconsin.
"Why?" you may ask.
God has taught me so much over the past four years about his love for the poor and outcast in the cities, through serving on short urban projects, taking the Trek to Calcutta in '03, and at Urbana '03 gaining the weight of desire for God's Kingdom to come. If you want to know more about why I'm spending this first year after graduation by working part-time with a child care program, living in a mission-minded Christian student house on campus, and investing whole-heartedly with a church that loves the poor nextdoor, all while being engaged to a guy who's studying Russian in Ukraine for a year, read on.
