God's Word

Summary: This is a book that emerged out of a conference, so each chapter is written by someone else. A lot of the authors disagree for each other. It is a survey of approaches to defense of the Gospel in a post-modern world.

Since these pieces stand on their own, read the essays by Jim Sire and by Walsh & Middleton, and forget the rest. Those two chapters, however, are lucid writings by believers who have learned the balance between cultivation of the mind, and intellectual submission before the Word of God.
