Summary: This book is one of the best I've seen on gender reconciliation. Barton deals strongly with the meat of a variety of gender relations issues, from problems is the workplace to institutional sexism in the church.

She understands her Bible, and will put up with no simplistic biblical interpretations that get men off the hook for being jerks. Barton's passion is matched by a redemptive hope for a better day, firmly grounded in a real, Godly vision of reality.

Barton helps men and women communicate, not to be better lovers, but to be better team-players.

This is neither a sappy victorian courting book that keeps people from enjoying real communication, nor a half-baked analysis that describes gender relations in interplanetary distances, but just a real honest book for real people wanting to work together, worship together and play together.
