In a time when large gatherings of North American Christians are relatively common, Urbana stands apart as the one event that consistently challenges participants with the spiritual and physical needs of the world, and connects them to opportunities to meet those needs.
We are excited to announce that a generous donor has pledged a matching gift for Urbana 09.
This two-for-one match will multiply your gift to Urbana, making it possible for more students to receive scholarships and for Urbana to cover critical programming costs. Many students spend months raising money to pay for Urbana, but unfortunately, many others never come because they cannot afford this life-changing event. At each Urbana, thousands of students are challenged by what they hear, and many of them want to respond in solidarity by serving or giving. After each conference we hear from many missions organizations that the students at Urbana are some of their best candidates.
