Catherwood goes beyond the all-too-frequent Euro-American centrism of much religious history and storytelling, taking his readers into China, Mongolia and Africa, and engaging the Orthodox and charismatic movements. Catherwood clearly identifies his own interpretations and opinions. Surprisingly, he also includes the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students movement in the last half of the twentieth century. Unfortunately there are no indexes.
