This book grew out of Feucht’s twenty-five years of work as a denominational secretary of adult education. It is as good as or better than any other book explaining the concept of the priesthood of believers; it also suggests ways to implement the concept. This is a particularly good synthesis of literature from the lay movement in the 1950s and 1960s.
