GOD OWNS MY BUSINESS
Tam, Stanley
Horizon House, 1984
158 pages

Originally published in 1969, this autobiography recounts Tam’s career as a salesman and then founder of what became a very large company in the mid-twentieth century. He was as intense about obeying God as he was about selling and making money. Along the way he grew in his faith and displayed a willingness to change. Tam broke the mold of wealth for wealth’s sake by establishing a charitable foundation that owned at first 51 and finally 100 percent of his company, paying himself and his wife as employees. This is an easy-to-read personal story rooted in intense personal integrity and personal evangelism.

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and truth."

John 4:23,24 (NIV)
