This book’s explicit theme is disciple-making. The authors provide helpful descriptions of the process of Christian growth, the church’s mission, five classifications of Scripture, the role of clergy and laity, the functions of parachurch groups, and more. They describe the lack of marketplace concern in most churches but do little to address the problem. The book is well-conceived and easy to read, but it doesn’t say enough.
