MEN HAVE FEELINGS, TOO! A BOOK FOR MEN (AND THE WOMEN THAT LOVE THEM)
Jones, G. Brian, & Linda Phillip-Jones
Victor, 1988
232 pages

A husband-and-wife counseling team analyze the widespread problem of men who struggle to understand and express their feelings. In themselves emotions are neither good nor bad, say the authors. What matters is how we use and emphasize them. The authors discuss how faith, external circumstances and our internal feelings should interact. They also suggest ways to help ease the common male-female conflict over the communication of feelings. Questions in the form of personal experiments follow each of twelve chapters. The book offers beginner-level insight on an important subject, but it may disappoint those in search of theological or psychological depth.
