MINISTERING IN THE SECULAR UNIVERSITY
This is a technique oriented how-to book that focuses on ministry by university faculty. Mellichamp covers how to write an ad for the campus newspaper, how to organize a meeting, how to prepare a talk and even to how to set up a room for a meeting. The book is practical, but it sorely lacks in two areas. Basic foundations of marketplace ministry such as calling, ideological conflict and the integration of faith and discipline are not addressed. It also lacks sufficient references to other people and resources in this particular calling. |
