NEVER FORGET
James, Kay Coles with Jaquelline Cobb Fuller
Zondervan, 1992
182 pages

This is a very personal and gripping story of an African American female born to a troubled family in public housing and her rise to public service in the first Bush White House. She tells of the pain and delights of poor black families in modern America as well as her struggle with the Christian faith which was resolved during her college days at Hampton Institute through involvement with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. It is candidly written and very educational about a black woman’s experience in government as a conservative, national prolife advocate and evangelical Christian.
