THE CLASHING WORLDS OF ECONOMICS AND FAITH
Halteman writes from an Anabaptist perspective and does an excellent job of developing a postmodern biblical economic theory from the biblical narrative. What makes this book worthwhile is Halteman’s use of comparative graphics and figures. His comparisons of historic worldviews and their economic ramifications is outstanding. The latter half of the book is devoted to developing Halteman’s Anabaptist two kingdom model of economics. An overview of other models’ strengths and
weaknesses would have strengthened the book. An excellent resource. |
