It is disheartening that this boxed set (four books, each 60 pages) applies only to men. (Most women work β including Christian women.) Aside from this irritation the books do a basic job of helping men invite God into their working lives. Dealing with calling, serving, skill and character in turn, each book serves as a workbook/devotional/meditation. While the books are not in-depth, they would be appropriate as a jumping-off point for a Promise Keepers-type Bible study or group. |
