Dan Harrison, former Vice President of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and past Director of the Urbana Student Mission Convention, passed away Sunday May 18, 2003.
Though he worked around the world, advancing the gospel through many agencies
and avenues, he dedicated a decade of service to InterVarsity. He directed
three student mission conventions and assisted in a fourth; he solidified
InterVarsity's invaluable relationships with our peer movements around the
world, through the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students, and he
steered InterVarsity's short-term missions program in innovative and highly
effective ways.
Dan Harrison was a visionary, an activist, and a loving husband, father and grandfather. As you peruse these pages, whether or not you knew him, thank God for choosing to work through Dan.
