God's World

Money Tutorial
The following resources and worksheets are adapted from seminars in Cost Effective College, by Gordon Wadsworth. This online tutorial will challenge you to examine your convictions and practices regarding money and help you develop a strategic plan for wisely using your finances. Be sure to compliment this tutorial with other resources in the Money & Stewardship feature.

Begin by getting into the Word. The Scripture studies, in manuscript format (without verse markings or headers), will help you discover God's desire for you and your financial blessings. Next, read the questionnaire to consider your financial standing in relation to the rest of the world. Then create a personal budget, develop a plan to get out of debt, and map out a life of giving that supports God's kingdom purposes. Being a good financial steward can be a rewarding adventure, but it requires discipline and a cheerfully giving heart.

"Peter said to him, "We have left everything to follow you!" "I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life."
