Qualifications for Applicants

Participants need an ability to understand and live amiably with other people and other faiths. Opportunities are available for men and women from denominations or churches proclaiming the Christian faith. Applicants must be committed to a minimum of 90 days of service.

Application and Candidacy Process
Our staff application for ACMNP are accepted online at www.acmnp.com. This application along with three reference forms (found online)must be completed and sent in prior to being considered for the Ministry. We give priority in placement to those who can serve 90 days or longer, generally between May and September. All ACMNP participants are expected to fulfill their commitments to their employers and the Ministry.

Training Program
Volunteers attend one of the regional training conferences held in the spring to better understand ACMNP and each member's role in it. We cover your expenses of room and board during the orientation. Staff provide their own transportation to and from the conferences, which are generally held in California, the Northwest, Texas, Missouri, Minnesota, the Southeast, the Northeast, the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic areas.
