Vision
Children to Love's ministry in Romanian government care centers focuses on: building relationships and modeling God's love; meeting the various children's and workers' needs physically, mentally, socially and spiritually; evangelizing them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ; encouraging them to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; introducing them to an evangelical church family; discipling them to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ at their ability level; and teaching them to function at their full potential.
In addition, Children to Love is working with a Children's Center in southern India, to provide meals, education, tutoring, clothing, books, supplies, and Bible study for impoverished children. These children have little hope for the future, but the CTL Children's Center is providing hope through Jesus Christ.

Qualifications for Applicants
For all applicants: Personal commitment to Jesus Christ, Agreement with our Statement of Faith and Values, and Commitment to our Mission Statement.
For those applying for one year or more: Specific skills will be required as determined by the current needs of the ministry.
Application and Candidacy Process
An applicant will first complete the Preliminary Questionnaire (PQ). Upon receipt of the PQ, an additional application form is sent to the applicant, as well as a request for references and a Home Church Affirmation statement (to be given to their church leadership for completion). Upon receipt of the reference names and additional application form, personal reference forms are then sent and the responses are compiled for review by the President. For those applying for 1-18 months, the President then addresses any questions he may have regarding the applicant by contacting the pastor, references and/or applicant, and then the Administrative Assistant communicates the approval status to the applicant by email. For those applying for more than 18 months, a pre-screening agency will be contacted to begin a psychological evaluation, and the results are then reviewed by the President and a committee of the Board of Directors. Communication is maintained with the applicant’s pastor and mission board, if applicable, concerning commissioning, fundraising, etc.
Training Program
All interns (1-18 mos) receive an Intern Handbook with information to help them prepare for their ministry. For those going for 12 months or more, some cross-cultural and language acquisition training will be required. In addition, new personnel serving in Romania will receive language lessons during their internship.
