Qualifications for Applicants
Encounter Trips and Internships: Applications are open to anyone at least 18 years old.
Staff: Crescent Project is a faith-based ministry. All staff are expected to raise a team of prayer and financial supporters.
Staff expectations include: Faith in God's power to save Muslims; Lifestyle free of habitual sin; Commitment to the corporate values of Crescent Project; Consistent walk in the Spirit; Self motivated; Humble attitude and desire to work with others as part of a team; Creative and innovative in completing goals and tasks.
Staff qualities include: Christ-like attitude of a servant-leader; Character that is balanced and biblical; Competence is expected from all in performing ministry assignments; Chemistry - an excitement about working with the staff team and all who are involved in our ministry; Cheerfulness - as a result of the joy in the Lord as we minister to Christians and Muslims
Application and Candidacy Process
Applicants for Crescent Project short-term trips and training opportunities must complete an online application at www.crescentproject.org.
Staff candidates are encouraged to send an up-to-date resume to jobs@crescentproject.org. Upon receipt of resume applicants will be sent an official staff application along with three reference forms. Once an applicant is approved by the personnel committee an official offer will be extended. New staff are considered candidates until they have raised 90% of their personal and ministry budget.
Training Program
All new Crescent Project staff are expected to attend personal support raising training and the Sahara Challenge, Crescent Project's one-week intensive training on Muslim ministry.
Funding
Crescent Project is a faith-based ministry. All staff are expected to raise a team of prayer and financial supporters. Training is provided for all new staff members upon acceptance.
