Vision
CrossWorld serves the church by mobilizing teams to make disciples and train leaders which will result in movements of reproducing churches among the unreached. As our world becomes a global society, missions is changing. Previously closed nations are opening their borders. Creative solutions to economic stimulation and growth are gaining ground as a means of entry. CrossWorld is moving in. Be a part of a team of people using your spiritual gifts, skills, experience, and training to reach the unreached and the unevangelized. CrossWorld has 80 teams serving 24 target areas, with five new areas of service opening up, using numerous means to facilitate sharing the Gospel(business, education, technical skill areas, medicine, linguistics).

Qualifications for Applicants
There are some different qualifications, yet we are always looking for a willing heart to serve the Lord among the unreached of the world! Applicants must be involved in a local church ministry and be growing in their relationship with the Lord.
Application and Candidacy Process
Short Term: Download the application and the reference forms found on the "Get Involved" section of our website. (www.crossworld.org) Fill out the application and mail it to us with the $25 application fee. Give the reference forms to the number of people required and ask them to return it completed to our office.
Candidacy: We do take this very seriously, therefore it is a more lengthy process. We receive a formal application with autobiography, references, transcripts and Doctrinal Statement. We send out reference forms to each one listed, and after all are returned, the candidate's file is passed to the Candidate Committee who will read through it and give approval. The pastor will be contacted before official approval is given. The next step is an invitation to Candidate Orientation including pre-event reading materials. This event is where we worship together, share visions with each other, evaluate language skills, values, theology, etc. A personalized plan will be developed for each appointee to follow during deputation which may include more training. After 80% of their financial support is raised, they will attend a pre-field orientation to go over finances, health issues, conflict resolution, MK issues and more. There will be a field orientation where language will be learned and they will be better oriented with cultural issues, as well as national ministry.
Training Program
If someone is traveling more than one year, we ask them to join the Candidate Orientation in either June or November. After 80% of their needed funds are raised, Pre-Field Orientation will be on their agenda, as well as a field orientation once in-country.
Funding
Our ministries are under faith based support. Each missionary and most of the home staff find people and churches to stand behind them as they serve the Lord. We highly encourage our missionaries to have close contact with their home church and encourage the church to play a part in sending out the missionaries.
