Qualifications for Applicants
Commitment to God and missions, as well as a love for children, characterize the over 140 professional staff members, more than 50% of whom possess advanced academic credentials. We realize that the key to a successful Christian School is its staff. We are seeking applicants who are professionally qualified, who really love children, and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models. Luke 6:40.
Normal teacher standards include a current teaching credential and ideally some teaching experience. We are looking for qualified boarding home parents and teachers in all subject areas. We would love to have teachers come for at least two years although we always need people to cover for one year for staff that are on home assignment. For boarding home parents we would like them to be there for at least 3 years.
Being an evangelical school for children of expatriate Christian workers, Faith Academy considers only personnel who subscribe to the school’s doctrinal statement. All staff members are affiliated with and receive financial support through an evangelical sending agency. Christian individuals and churches around the world who send and financially support the faculty members at the school donate sixty-nine percent of the cost of a Faith Academy education.

There is a dual application process. The Faith Academy application form and the mission agency form.
