Vision
FRONTIERS is uniquely wired to help people go first. There are approximately 247 Muslim ethnic groups with population over 100K and no living witness to Jesus. Someone must go first to begin to show the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Six distinctives bind our semi-autonomous teams together:
1. We work among Muslims in their homelands.
2. We work in community.
3. Our goal is redeemed communities of Muslims.
4. We are field-led.
5. We are grace-oriented.
6. We believe that young and inexperienced Christ-followers can increase His glory among Muslims if they are eager for coaching and upgrading.

Training Program
One of our highest values is life-long learning. We are always in training.
Our training recognizes five areas in which we must be growing if we are to be godly, effective Gospel-planters among Muslims. The five focus areas are Communion (with God), Community (with each other), Character, Content and Competence.
We have several venues for beginning and progressing in this training.
1. Serving on the field on a team or as a team leader. (OK, you didn’t expect this one to be first, but let’s face it, the best training comes from doing.)
2. A six-week Team Leader Training Camp is designed to give those with leadership gifts the confidence and affirmation they need to begin new works among unengaged Muslim people groups.
3. On-field Training is provided by our Master Builders Imitative, and includes language and culture acquisition, peacemaking, and church planting training, among other things.
4. GAP Teams (7-13 months) have a unique training element in a Muslim community in the US before moving to the Middle East.
5. Special Assignment offers opportunities to learn on a field team for up to a year.
6. iPACT (Intensive Professional and Cross-Cultural Training) is offered in various places around the world. Six weeks of in-depth Bible study and challenging practical assignments show you what you are made of, and how God can work through you anyway.
Funding
Most raise their support from churches, friends and family.
Some are engaging in for-profit business.
We don't want you to be just a pin on a map. We want you to be an essential part of your church's vision to complete the Great Commission. It may be that you will stimulate that vision for the church.
