Qualifications for Applicants
1. Must be born again. 2. Must be called to a Jewish ministry. 3. Must be in complete agreement with our Doctrinal Statement and Principles and Practices Statement. 4. Must not be divorced.

Application and Candidacy Process
1. Preliminary Application is filled out and approved by Staffing Coordinator. 2. Primary Application is filled out and approved by Staffing Coordinator. 3. Approved applicant meets with either National Director or Church Ministries Director or International Ministries Director (depending on area of ministry calling) 4. Directors determine location of ministry and budget for new applicant 5. Directors recommend new applicant to Executive Director 6. New applicant meets with Executive Director 7. Upon approval of Executive Director, new applicant meets with Missions Committee of the General Board 8. Upon approval of Missions Committee, new applicant meets with General Board. 9. General Board decides final approval of new applicant to enter Appointee Status.

Training Program
1. Office staff: in-house training, when needed, is provided to all headquarters staff working in areas of data entry, shipping, and administration. 2. Field staff & church ministries staff: training in Jewish history, culture, and modern-day Israel is provided in-house, along with practical, on-the-field training among Friends of Israel field staff. 3. Length of training is dependent on new personnel's knowledge and previous experience in Jewish and biblical related themes.

Funding
Workers are funded by raising support from local churches and individuals.
