Vision
Hope International University exists to serve the church in its mission of discipling the nations by providing Christian higher education to help students develop for leadership in the church and society. Hope International University emphasizes education for church-related careers as well as selected careers that have a high probability for Christian influence upon people and society.

Accredited Programs
Hope International Univ. School of Graduate Studies offers accredited graduate programs in Education, Inter-Cultural Studies, Psychology, Management, Non-Profit Management, and Ministry. The programs specifically related to Cross Cultural Ministry and Missions are as follows:

-Masters of Arts in Ministry in Inter-Cultural Studies Urban Ministry

Urban Preparation
Hope International University has sought to meet the unique needs of the urban populations at home and abroad by fine-tuning our existing degree programs as well as creating new programs. Examples of these efforts include the Masters of Arts in Ministry, Urban Studies and the Masters of Business Administration in International Development.
International Preparation
The curriculum of all programs in the School of Graduate Studies, and Pacific Christian College at the undergraduate level, at Hope International University maintains an emphasis in cultural diversity thru required classes such as Cross Cultural Mores and Values, Intercultural Communications, and Principles of Servant Leadership. Additionally, since our staff and faculty come from all parts of the world, and have many years of international field-work experience, the university is a model of multi-ethnic team work.
Ministry to Unreached People Groups
The curriculum of the university has at its core a focus on reaching the lost, with particular emphasis on the unreached people groups of the world.
Youth Ministry
The School of Graduate Studies has a Masters of Arts in Ministry program with a focus in Children or Youth Ministry which build a foundation for effective ministry among children and young.
Equiping for Social Justice
Our Int'l. Development and Non-Profit Management degrees focus on the management of programs and organizations working to ease physical and spiritual suffering of peoples around the world thru a holistic approach to ministry.
Vocational Ministry
As stated earlier in the latter part of our mission statement, "Hope International University emphasizes education for church related careers as well as selected careers that have a high probability for Christian influence upon people and society." Examples of these tentmaking ministries include careers in education, psychology, social work, as well as health science, to name a few.

This school invites:
- Non-English speaking candidates (We have a Spanish track Bachelor of Arts in Ministry. We have a Korean track Masters in Church Music program.)

- Those who practice ?charismatic? gifts such as prophecy, speaking in tongues, healing prayer, etc.
