| Questions about: Urbana |
| Frank: (10/07/00) Jack, I'm a graduate student at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. I noticed in the track section there is a "Graduate Students and Faculty track". Do I need to do anything other than show up to these seminars?
Thanks. |
| Jack: Hi, Frank: When you get to Urbana, look in the Convention Handbook which will list an amazing array of options for seminars. One of these will be the "Graduate Students and Faculty Track." You just show up. I'm sure you'll find it helpful as the Program will be led by Dr. Terry Morrison, himself a former university professor, and one who has a lot of experience dealing with many of the issues you undoubtedly are confronting. You should know that the particular intent of the program is to equip those wanting to be "missionaries" in the academy. If you are not necessarily planning on an academic career yourself, you may find some of the other seminars more useful. Jack |
