Just a quick piece of info that may assist you as you reach numerous youth. At Urbana 2000 we asked each student who feels the call to missions but is struggling with it to write on the back of our display what it is that is holding them back. Over 800 responded and they mostly had the same responses such as parents, money and spiritual inadequacy. One of our staff has since put a book together with stories of how people on the field today overcame those same obstacles. The book is called Scaling the Wall. It retails for about 10 dollars but we can sell it for about 6.
Also, my missions agency, Operation Mobilization, can fit almost any of the majors and skills students were looking to fit in the questions they asked you. We also have customized missions trips and internships.
