| Questions about: How can I use my major & skills? |
| Jessi: (01/20/05) Jack,
I am working on my master's degree in environmental engineering, and I would like to use my degree in the missions field. I know there is a huge need for the design of water and wastewater treatment systems for third world countries where so many people are suffering from water-borne diseases. Do you know of any mission groups or any other agencies that focus on serving unreached people by remediating their water supply? |
| Jack: Jessi, I would recommend that you contact one of the large Christian relief and development agencies such as World Vision (www.wvi.org); Food for the Hungry (www.fh.org), or World Concern (www.worldconcern.org. Look also into agencies like Youth with a Mission (www.ywam.org) or Frontiers (www.frontiers.org) that are particularly interested in unreached people areas.
May the Lord guide you and use your training and desire to minister to peoples’ needs. Jack |
