Becky: (01/30/05) Hi Jack! I am a junior in high school, and feel God's calling for me to go on the mission feild. I love children and I love ceramics art. Is there any way I can incoorperate them both on the mission feild? Becky

Jack: Becky, I would encourage you to explore the possibility of working in an orphanage somewhere overseas. Christian agencies have developed care for abandoned children, those who parents have died of AIDS, children whose support system has been taken away through natural disaster (like the Tsunami tragedy) or wars.

Loving children includes not only feeding and clothing them. It will absorb all the creativity you have as an artist and enable you to bring new experiences and appreciation for God's creation as well as the Creator. It will also help you draw from them their own creativity.
