| JESS: (01/30/05) o.k so i've been and out of missions for the last years so i've done the whole raise money support thing. I've come to a place where i know where i'm going i mean God's plan for me and that involves a school with ywam this march and as i trust God i've applied and everything cause i know that's where he wants me to go but as i've only got 2 months left my money for my fees is very low and i used all the resources i can, i'm not sure what to do but i need help, i know i should just trust in God but i also know he gave us means and ways to raise money. Help, please, God Bless

| Jack: Well, Jess, you don’t have much time! Some suggestions:
1) Have you shared your vision and need with your church?
2) With your family members?
3) With your Christian friends?
4) Have you asked YWAM for their suggestions?
I think this last question may be the most significant. They are very accustomed to people in your situation and I’m sure will have helpful ideas that combine both practical things to do as well as spiritual sensitivity. If you are interested and will write me back, I’ll send you a 21 page e-mail booklet prepared by InterVarsity staff to help young people raise money for mission trips. Many of the ideas would be helpful to you, I should think, even though it is prepared for an American context. May the same Lord who called you into mission confirm this call by giving you the resources to do what you see as His will for you. Jack |
