| Jack: Kin, here are some suggestions:
1) Asian Access (www.asianaccess.org). Formerly known as "Life Ministries". Originally they just did English teaching, but have now shifted to working with Japanese pastors. However, they continue to use English teaching as a bridge to the Christian community. 2) OMS. Formerly known as "Oriental Missionary Society," they have a long history of work in Japan. http://omsinternational.org/asia/japan/opportunities 3) SEND. Founded in the U.S. in 1947. http://www.send.org/japan/opps.htm#english 4) Pioneers. http://pioneersjapan.tripod.com/shimonoseki If you need more information on any of these agencies, I would encourage you to communicate with the person who gave me this information, Kitty B. Purgason, PhD Associate Professor, Chair Department of Applied Linguistics and TESOL Biola University 13800 Biola Avenue La Mirada, CA 90639 562/944-0351 x 5694 kitty.purgason@biola.edu I trust that you will find something here that will be helpful to you and your daughter.
