| Chris: (04/12/06) Do IV staff have to pay for their hotel rooms up front?

| Jack: No one (staff or attendees) has to pay for their hotel room in advance of the convention. We are asking everyone to provide a credit card to hold their reservation, but this information will only be provided to the hotel if the room is not cancelled and no one shows up at the hotel on the first night of the reservation. Regular attendees will give their payment information to the hotel upon check-in, and staff will receive a housing voucher worth one half of the cost of their room, allowing the hotel to bill IV directly.
