| Questions about: Getting involved in missions |
| Jonathan: (11/06/08) Jack -
I am studying to receive a BS in electrical engineering (currently 3rd yr), and I am looking for internship opportunities where I could apply my knowledge or at least participate in a program that has some relevance to my major. My friend Jon Viducich recently did an internship in Ecuador with HCJB where he helped develop a water system for a city outside Quito. I suppose I would like to be involved in something similar, perhaps with more emphasis on electrical engineering. What do you think?

| Jack: Jonathan, I think that an internship overseas would be most valuable. You might check with HCJB yourself. Since they have both radio and TV facilities I wouldn’t be surprised if they would have a number of positions that would have to do with electrical engineering.
Or you might try a Relief and Development organization like World Vision International, World Relief, or Food for the Hungry. You might have to pay your own way, but the experience would be invaluable. Jack |
